CHESHIRE’S Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Dan Price welcomed the Minister of State, Rt Hon Lord David Hanson to Ellesmere Port on his first ministerial visit since his appointment in July. The Cheshire PCC was given £820,000 funding by the Home Office. The safer streets movement is to promote less crime and safer places for residents. The meeting was located at Ellesmere Port Police Station where they discussed the difference and impact the funding is having on Ellesmere Port, Crewe and Warrington. The use of e-scooters, e-bikes and off-road bikes continues to negatively impact the residents and the town, as a result of this they will be confiscated. Drones have been deployed so they can track these banned items and seize them as soon as possible.
