Golfer, James, with Prodigy Golf Founder, Patrick.
At Prodigy Golf, Ellesmere Port Golf Club, we learned about their work first-hand. High-school student, James, had the opportunity to meet Patrick, collect golf clubs from him, before using them on Ellesmere Port Golf Club's grounds. Whilst we were there, James also got a membership from Sean Green, the founder. Using collected golf clubs from the residents of Ellesmere Port, Patrick is able to give young people a future in golf. You can drop off your unused golf clubs at the Port in the storm and Godbarbers Ellesmere Port.

James, Patrick and Sean.
Patrick Dooley told us a bit about himself and his background. He told us that he has been a golf enthusiast for 20 years. He then found out there was a decline on junior memberships and sections, and knew he needed to act on it. His aim is to make an effort to reduce gaming addiction and get people back into golf. Patrick's biggest idol is a Spanish Golfer, Severiano Ballestros, who was one of the sport's leading figures from the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s.
